However, this time around he is capable of shooting electric charges from his electrified gloves, serving as his ranged attack. This time Church and Jorge have equipped themselves with plates of armor for extra protection, although unlike his companion Jorge, who is now wielding a flamethrower and a riot shield instead of his rifle from last time, Church continues to use the same electrified gloves he used in the last battle. He returns in The Scenic Route, making a surprise appearance by breaking through the ceilings of the sewers. In this fight Church is equipped with a a pair of electrified gloves that resemble defibrilators. He and Jorge are first encountered by their soon-to-be rivals Sanford and Deimos near the end of the stage The Boom Factory, being their ultimate obstacle in their quest for the explosives to use on the Sheriff's Station Fortress gate. His fighting style is focused on melee combat, in contrast to Jorge's focus on ranged weaponry. His combat prowess and durability are far above most G03LM's as he and Jorge are capable of fighting on the same level as their rivals Sanford and Deimos.Ĭhurch also has surprising agility for a G03LM, as he is capable of both running at high speeds and jumping great heights and distances. They also do not mind their losses to Sanford and Deimos, claiming that they can come back with different tactics every time.

Unlike his G03LM bretheren, who speak with formal, yet cold and authorative language, Church and Jorge are a pair of foul-mannered brutes full of machismo, often calling their opponents losers and bragging about their pain tolerance, constant comebacks, and their "fighting ethic", which they willingly go against by calling for reinforcements whenever one of the two falls in combat, in contrast to their "fair fight" policy, showing that the pair aren't as honorable as they make themselves out to be.Ĭhurch is the more aggressive of the duo, and this is shown in how he will often chase after your player characters.

It is not too challenging, but you will have to replay some levels so you can grind so you are prepared for later levels. He is a MERC G03LM who has hair styled into a Mohawk, sporting a grey MERC uniform under a bullet vest wrapped in caution tape, black boots, fingerless gloves, an electrified backpack he wears to power his weapons and a single filter gas mask attached to his face through a series of 4 belts that has lens that looks like angrily glaring eyes. It is very easy to get to grips with in terms of the gameplay and while some people find these types of game repetitive, I always get into a Zen-like state when playing them. There are plenty of weapons that you can get such as a sword, bow, and arrow, and even picking stuff up off the ground. That is right, you can use the girl as a projectile weapon as you make your way back. The thing is, villagers will stop you so you have to throw the girl. The goal of each “level” is that you grab a girl and bring her back to the base so she can be sacrificed. There is an alert level and the higher it is the more village folks will come after you. The village people are having none of this so you have to kill them.

You play as a goblin and you head into a village. The gameplay of Goblin Walker is something that I really did enjoy. It is pretty fun and amusing stuff and, in all honesty, I have no complaints about it.

It may sound basic, but it is kind of fun and at the end of the day it does give you a reason to be doing what you are doing.
